    The word is far more stupid if you break it down. Why not simply say "anti-Jew" if that is what you mean. Why bring Semites into this if there is no record of anyone being violently opposed to a linguistic group?

    If you dig a little deeper than the dictionary which claims it is those of that linguistic group you will find that it is about the sons of Shem who was one of Noah's sons. The Palestinians being far more pure blood (due to only living in one area for 2000 years) than the Jews who were a diaspora are actually far more Semetic than the Jews who are heavily interbred.
